Data and purposes
When you email us, we process the information you provide (such as your name, company, contact details and message) to reply and, where applicable, manage a business relationship. Visiting the site may generate technical data needed for operation and security, such as an IP address and access logs. The site has no contact form, automated decisions or profiling.
Legal basis
We respond to business enquiries and manage contacts acting for companies on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining B2B commercial relationships (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and, where applicable, Article 19 of Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018). If an individual requests a transaction in their own name, we may process data needed for pre-contractual steps (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We also have a legitimate interest in securing the site (Article 6(1)(f)); legal duties are based on Article 6(1)(c). We do not use an enquiry to send promotional emails without an appropriate legal basis. Emailing us is voluntary, but we need a reply address and relevant information to answer the enquiry.
Security
We handle data confidentially and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to limit unauthorised access, loss and alteration.
Retention
We keep enquiries as long as needed to respond and, if a business relationship develops, for its duration. Afterwards, data may be held with restricted access for applicable legal limitation periods. Technical logs are kept as long as needed for security and operation.
Recipients
The site is hosted through OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites, which may process technical visit data to provide the service and uses subprocessors listed in its published list. Our email provider processes messages you send us. Authorities may also receive data where legally required. Hosting may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Any international transfer must rely on an adequacy decision or another valid safeguard under the GDPR.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable by writing to contact@mediterranea.pro. We may request additional information if there are reasonable doubts about identity. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Updates
We will update this policy if the purposes, providers or site functions change.
